Pope Benedict XVI has declared a "Year for Priests" beginning with the Solemnity
of the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 19, 2009. The year will conclude in Rome

Archbishop-emeritus John F. Donoghue said opening the chapel of perpetual adoration at the Cathedral of Christ the King in 1994 was “an action that springs from human need – our need for friendship, for companionship, for the knowledge that indeed, our God does travel along with us as we walk the bumpy road of life, and as we seek to transverse the rough places and crooked ways that meet us at every turn.” Learn more about adoration in the Archdiocese of Atlanta.
The goal of the AACCW is to give the Catholic women of our Archdiocese a common voice and to be an instrument for united action in matters affecting our Catholic/Christian principles.
