Office of Catholic Schools

Welcome to the web site for the Office of Catholic Schools in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta!

Our archdiocese is blessed with tremendous growth and vitality.  During the current school year, our schools serve 11,783 students in PK(4) through 12th grade programs.  In addition, our 32 parish pre-school programs serve an additional 2,700 children throughout the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

To address an increasing demand for Catholic education in North Georgia, a strategic study was commissioned to provide direction for our schools for the next three to five years.  We eagerly await preliminary recommendations that are scheduled to be received in the spring of 2009.

Our 18 archdiocesan schools and six independent schools are dedicated to the responsibility of forming our students in our Catholic faith and traditions while providing them with an outstanding academic education.  By joining and partnering with parents, we accept the challenge to help our students grow with faith, hope and love.

The mission statement for Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese of Atlanta states that  “Our schools are committed to providing quality education in an environment of spiritual, intellectual and moral formation in accordance with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church.”

Thank you for your interest in and support of the mission of Catholic education.  Please feel free to utilize our contact information should you have any questions or desire additional information.

Blessings,

Diane Starkovich
