Archdiocese Art Show
Each spring the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Atlanta place student art work on display in the Archdiocesan Art Show. Selected works from students in grades K through 12 are included in the show. The student creations include a variety of artistic media including paintings, drawings, photography, and sculpture.
Battle of the Books
This annual competition is open to students in grades three through six. Students participate in teams to answer questions based on classic and popular books.
Music Festival
The Archdiocesan Music Festival is an annual clinic and performance for vocal and instrumental music. The festival is held in the spring each year and is open to elementary and middle school students.
Oratorical Contest
The Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Atlanta compete in the Modern Woodmen of America’s Oratorical Contest each year. Students in grades five through eight are eligible to participate. The topic for the contest is selected by the Modern Woodmen of America. Students research, compose, and deliver a three to five minute speech on the topic. Participating schools send one student representative to the Archdiocesan competition each spring.
Spelling Bee
Students in the Catholic Schools of the Archdiocese of Atlanta are invited to participate in the annual Spelling Bee. Held each year during Catholic Schools Week, the Archdiocesan Bee is conducted in conjunction with the Georgia Association of Educators (GAE) Bee and the Scripps-Howard National Spelling Bee.
