The CDC reports that "30% of Georgia women between the age of 14 and 44 report that an intimate partner has physically assaulted them at least once." Domestic violence is a problem that affects our communities-rich and poor, and it is a problem that the Archdiocese is interested in addressing. Find out what we as a parish can do to help by attending a very special workshop entitled: "Domestic Violence: A Community Response".

The goal of the workshop is to raise awareness of domestic violence and to provide a wide range of community resources for addressing the issue.

The primary presenter will be an OLA parishioner, Marne Mercer, who is also a Dekalb County Detective attached to the Domestic Violence unit.
