- www.benotafraid.net - Be Not Afraid is an online outreach to parents who have received a poor or difficult prenatal diagnosis. The family stories, articles, and links within this site are presented as a resource for those who may have been asked to choose between terminating a pregnancy or continuing on despite the diagnosis. This outreach is guided by the directives of the Catholic Church as they concern issues surrounding the beginning and the end of life. They prefer to offer resources and referrals to organizations that adhere to the healthcare directives of the Catholic Church when they are available.
- FUN NIGHT! is an evening of fun and socialization for children and adults with disabilities, as well as an opportunity for respite for their parents and caregivers. We meet the second Friday of each month from 6-9PM at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Kennesaw. Adult and teenage volunteers make this ministry possible. All ages and levels of disability are welcome. One on one volunteer support is available if needed. Participants must provide their own transportation. Adult volunteers must submit to a background check as required by the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Participants must complete an emergency medical information form. Please contact either Karen Hastings at karenhastings@comcast.net or Kathleen Fleiszar at kfleisza@kennesaw.edu
