Archdiocesan Hispanic Ministry Council Board
The Council Board serves as a consultant and advisory entity to ensure the
accomplishment of the pastoral goals established for the Hispanic Ministry
in the Archdiocese of Atlanta. It will also serve as sounding board between
the offices, ministries and parishes to better understand and respond to the
needs of our Hispanic brothers and sisters.
The Council has several pastoral areas of ministry; each of them bill be
headed by one of the members of the board with specific responsibilities
and objectives
Council Members Responsibilities
Objectives:
To oversee and support the development and growth of the pastoral areas under
his/her responsibility by following the teaching of the Church and the USCCB
documents on Hispanic Ministry.
Responsibilities:
To Propose, support and follow up the development of projects and programs
for the pastoral areas under his/her responsibility.
To Provide feedback to the Council
To participate in the council’s meetings and conference phone calls
To represent the pastoral area in meetings
To follow up results
Time of service:
The membership is a period of three years.
