Parish Connection Newsletter/Journal
| Subscribe | Advertising | Current & Past Issues |
Parish Connection is the official communication organ of the OBCM and its partners in evangelization. It is published quarterly and is used primarily to inform the faith community of the Atlanta Archdiocese about local, national, and regional spiritual and social matters that are of particular interest and importance to Black Catholics and to Catholics in general.
Additionally, Parish Connection is a means by which to nurture Black Catholic heritage and to encourage the Black Catholic community to continue sharing their gifts with all of God’s people. In addition to local distribution, Parish Connection is distributed nationally to subscribers, parishes, clergy, and other friends of the OBCM, including members of the National Association of Black Catholic Administrators (NABCA).
Parish Connection is evolving as a newsletter/journal.
As a newsletter it provides its readers with informational, inspirational, and cultural articles, as well as timely announcements.
As a journal, it provides opportunities for theologians and social scientists to present scholarly essays on liturgical, pastoral, theological, cultural, and a number of social science issues that are of concern to Blacks in general and Black Catholics in particular.
