St. Marguerite d’Youville, seeks a creative and energetic Youth Minister to help launch a new, vibrant Youth Ministry Program. The Youth Minister will provide leadership, vision and coordination for the parish’s ministry to young people from sixth through twelfth grades, and young adults ages 18 to 25. Responsibilities will include developing and running a comprehensive program that incorporates faith formation, spiritual, social and service components in a creative variety of formats, activities, settings, and time frames. The ideal candidate is a practicing Catholic with a degree in theology, psychology, education, sociology or other relevant field: certification as a Catholic Youth Minister (or actively working toward certification); and hands-on experience leading or co-leading a Catholic Youth Ministry Program. This is a part-time salaried staff position. Archdiocese of Atlanta seeks an individual to coordinate the Georgia Residents Assisting Children’s Education (GRACE) program. This is a comprehensive program throughout the Archdiocese of Atlanta. The Archdiocese of Atlanta seeks a Project Consultant to be a lead support in advancing the discipleship planning initiative among parishes. Responsible for increasing parish engagement in planning processes that promote lifelong discipleship and stewardship, this person will work closely with pastors and parishes as well as the directors of the office of stewardship and the office of formation and discipleship who co-lead this project. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years experience in parish-based stewardship, possess strong planning and facilitation skills, be able to work effectively with diverse groups and individuals, and demonstrate success as a self-starter and organizer. Applicants must be actively practicing Catholics possessing a bachelor degree or equivalent in theology, pastoral planning, or related field.
