Roman Missal Resources

The Office for Divine Worship has put together many original resources for your use, including a pre-packaged workshop on the new translation (just print, set up the projector, and go!), a video of Archbishop Gregory speaking about the new translation, an order form for discounted copies of the Missal itself, and more.

  • Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory Welcoming the Third Edition of the Roman Missal (video)
    • In just five minutes, Archbishop Gregory addresses the essential questions about the new translation. This video will be mailed out to every parish. To request additional copies, email us at odw@archatl.com.
  • To order a Missal: Fill out this order form or click here.
  • The Order of Mass
    • Here is the entire text of the new Ordinary – that is, all the parts of Mass that don’t change from week to week.
    • To purchase Booklets containing the Order of Mass, click here.
    • If you ordered Order of Mass booklets before 6/28, check out the revisions here.
  • Pre-packaged workshop for adults
    • This workshop allows parish coordinators to present the history of the Roman Missal as well as key points for understanding the new translation.  It includes PowerPoint slides, a script for the presenter, and handouts.  It can be modified to suit the needs of the audience.
  • Some Thoughts on Change: Adapted from a presentation by Dr. Brian Reynolds, Chancellor and Chief Administrative Officer, Archdiocese of Louisville. This two-page memo helps to put in context the ways in which people react to change. Helpful for any staff or volunteers assisting in catechesis on the new translation.
  • Memo to PriestsDeaconsMusiciansCatechists
  • Prayer for the Sacred Liturgy (prayer card) This prayer is being introduced throughout the Archdiocese as a way for preparing for the new translation of the Roman Missal. Order additional copies here.
