Parish Nursing Programs, a retreat-style
educational program
June 15-20, A retreat-style educational program to enable RNs
to start Parish Nursing Programs and care for congregants in their faith communities
spiritually, emotionally and physically will be offered at Ignatius House
Jesuit Retreat Center, Atlanta. Professors are from Georgia Baptist College
of Nursing of Mercer University, parish nurses of Gwinnett Medical Center,
and others skilled in parish nursing, health promotion, and grief, palliative
and spiritual care. Cost is only $475 due to a grant. The first 20 nurses
