Fr. Theodore Book completed a BS in Computer Science at GA Tech before heading off for the seminary. He completed three semesters of philosophical studies as a prerequisite for theological studies at Saint Vincent and Saint Meinrad Seminaries. He holds an STB (baccalaureate in sacred theology) from the Pontificia Università Gregoriana (commonly called “the Gregorian” or “the Greg,” for short) and an SLL (licentiate in sacred liturgy) from the Pontificio Istituto Liturgico. He is currently engaged in coursework for a MS degree in Architecture at GA Tech. He currently works as the Director of Worship for the Archdiocese of Atlanta and teaches as an adjunct professor in the theology department at Southern Catholic College. He is fluent in English, Spanish, Latin, and Italian, has conversational ability in French, and has some familiarity with Hellenistic Greek. In 2002-2003 he wrote “A Spiritual Commentary on the Mass,” a series of seventeen articles on the Catholic mass published in The Georgia Bulletin, the Atlanta-area Catholic newspaper; this work is currently being expanded and revised to be published in book form.
