Presenter
Fr. Charles Byrd, born in Georgia and raised Protestant, was brought into the Church by Archbishop Lyke. He worked for years in advertising before he was ordained a deacon in St. Peter's by Cardinal Ratzinger in 1999. He was ordained a priest by Archbishop Donoghue. He holds an STB (Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology) from the Gregorian University in Rome and an STL (Licentiate in Sacred Theology) in Spirituality from the Angelicum University in Rome. He spent two years as parochial vicar at St. Andrew's in Roswell; four years as a Spiritual Director, Director of Liturgy, and Professor at St. Vincent Seminary in Latrobe; and is currently stationed at the Cathedral of Christ the King.
