Presenter
Tom Coffey was ordained a Permanent Deacon on January 18, 1992, in the Diocese of Dallas, TX. Since ordination, he has served in the dioceses of Dallas, TX; Jackson, MS; Atlanta, GA; San Jose, CA; and St Paul-Minneapolis, MN. He has a great love for the church and life-long learning, and an interest in adult education. He is assigned to Transfiguration parish in Marietta, and his ministries include sacramental preparation, in particular Marriage, Baptism, and Adult Confirmation programs. He has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations from LeMoyne College (a Jesuit school) in Syracuse, NY; and a Master's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. His professional career is in the field of Human Resources management. He and his wife Teresa have three grown children and four grandchildren. They enjoy traveling, the Arts (especially film, theater, and Opera), reading, and water sports.
